The characters may loop continuously, yet your decisions can create sections. An entrance raises the energy, a removal opens space, and a returning performer can feel like a chorus. Thinking in those terms turns the board from a sound preview into a simple performance tool.

Build the Middle Without Hiding the Pulse

Add one role after each complete cycle. Melody should give the beat direction; voices should provide a focal point; effects should mark a change. When two characters fill the same role, solo them and keep the clearer option. A full stage is only useful when the original rhythm remains easy to find.
